WWE Raw results, recap, grades: John Cena wins final Raw match, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns join WarGames
Things got wild on Raw with SummerSlam fast approaching

John Cena's time on WWE Raw is done. Cena made his final Raw appearance on Monday night and he went out with a victory.
Cena teamed with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus to take on Judgment Day in a six-man tag match. Unsurprisingly, Cena got the victory and now can look ahead to facing Dominik Mysterio in an intercontinental championship rematch at Survivor Series.
In other big news from Monday night, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns both made surprise appearances, apparently entering the mix for the men's WarGames match at Survivor Series.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Madison Square Garden in New York.
John Cena teams with Rey Mysterio and Sheamus to win final Raw match
To no one's surprise, John Cena opened the show. Fresh off his intercontinental championship victory one week prior, Cena was quickly interrupted by the former champion, Dominik Mysterio. Mysterio demanded a rematch for the title, which Cena wasted no time in accepting before Mysterio said he didn't want the rematch until Survivor Series. Cena again accepted, but said he wanted a match on his final Raw and last WWE appearance in Madison Square Garden. Mysterio again declined Cena's invitation to face off in a non-title match before being joined by Judgment Day teammates Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. Judgement Day attacked Cena until Sheamus and Rey Mysterio ran in to make the save.
John Cena, Rey Mysterio & Sheamus def. Judgment Day via pinfall when Cena hit McDonagh with an Attitude Adjustment. After the attack and subsequent save, Cena threw down the challenge for the six-man tag match, leading to an entertaining match that Cena's team managed to win.
This was a fairly easy, low-stakes way to handle Cena's final Raw match. It continued the story heading to Survivor Series and the Dom rematch while having some fun moments to send the crowd home happy. Grade: B
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns join the mix ahead of WarGames
Early in the show, Paul Heyman delivered news of his team's fifth man for WarGames to Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis. Heyman had arrived earlier in the night with Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. The fifth man was not revealed at the time, but Pearce rolled his eyes before saying, "This is going to be fun."
Heyman led his team to the ring at the end of the night, where he proceeded to list all of the teams he had managed in WarGames matches in his career. This was eventually interrupted by CM Punk, who walked to the ring ready for a fight. Punk was then joined by The Usos and Cody Rhodes, and a brawl broke out between the two teams. Things quickly changed when Brock Lesnar's music hit and he made his way to the ring to take out Punk. After Lesnar also took out Rhodes, Roman Reigns ran to the ring, eventually knocking Reigns from the ring with a Superman punch. Reigns would also take out Reed as the two teams brawled with the show going off the air.
It was predictable that Lesnar and Reigns would round out their respective WarGames teams. Still, those are some big names and having them in the ring together always generates a good amount of buzz. WarGames should be interesting this year, and Heyman has put together one of the most physically imposing teams possible. Grade: B
What else happened on WWE Raw?
- Nikki Bella attacked Stephanie Vaquer as Vaquer was walking to the ring for an interview. Bella said she didn't return to WWE to sit on the sidelines as a cheerleader and that she would take the women's world championship from Vaquer.
- The Last Time is Now Tournament (first-round match) -- Solo Sikoa def. Dolph Ziggler via pinfall with a Samoan Spike. Ziggler made a surprising return, but came up short in a spirited match.
- Women's intercontinental championship – Maxxine Dupri def. Becky Lynch (c) via pinfall to win the title. Lynch seemed to have the match in control when AJ Lee's music hit and Lee skipped her way to ringside. That left an opening for Dupri to hit a diving crossbody on the distracted Lynch to score the pinfall and win the title. Later, Rhea Ripley pulled Lee aside for a chat, seemingly recruiting her to the WarGames team.
- The Last Time is Now Tournament (first-round match) -- Gunther def. Je'Von Evans via submission with a rear-naked choke. Evans was given a lot of shine before falling to Gunther.
