WWE Raw recap, grades: Logan Paul confronts CM Punk, beats Rey Mysterio to qualify for Elimination Chamber
It was a very good night for Paul as he shared the ring with two legends
WWE's decision to bring in Logan Paul a handful of years ago has proven to have been a good one, with Paul constantly outperforming expectations in the ring. On Monday night, the former United States champion added another note to his resume when he qualified for the Elimination Chamber with a win over Rey Mysterio in Raw's main event.
This is the second consecutive year in which Paul qualified for the Elimination Chamber. In 2024, he defeated The Miz to qualify before coming up short in the iconic structure.
On the women's side, Bayley qualified for the Elimination Chamber with a win over women's intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
Logan Paul confronts CM Punk, beats Rey Mysterio to qualify for Elimination Chamber
CM Punk cut a promo late in the show, laying out his plans to win the Elimination Chamber and follow through on telling Cody Rhodes he would stab him in the front by facing him at WrestleMania. Punk ran through other names in the Chamber, including Drew McIntyre and John Cena before adding Seth Rollins' name to the list if Rollins beats Finn Balor next week to qualify. Punk was interrupted by Logan Paul, who entered the ring to confront Punk. Paul pointed out that he threw Punk out of the Royal Rumble and said he'd take Punk out inside the Chamber as well. Punk told Paul that he'd put him to sleep inside the Chamber if Paul managed to qualify by beating Rey Mysterio.
Men's Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match -- Logan Paul def. Rey Mysterio via pinfall with a Paulverizer. After the match, New Day jumped in the ring and attacked Mysterio, beating him down as the show went off the air.
There was a lot going on in the show, but no one thing stood out as "the" big story coming out of Raw. Jey Uso made the expected announcement that he would face Gunther at WrestleMania and many men and women talked up their Elimination Chamber plans. It was a big night for Paul, however, as he wrestled his first Raw match and got the win over a legend after trading words with Punk. Grade: B
