WWE Raw results, recap, grades: LA Knight and CM Punk take down The Usos as Jey Uso follows Roman Reigns' path
Jey Uso seemed to have his mind further poisoned by Reigns' worst instincts

Jey Uso has been spiraling since losing the world heavyweight championship. On Monday night, Jey continued to drift toward Roman Reigns' worst instincts rather than those of his own twin brother, Jimmy.
The night led up to The Usos facing LA Knight and CM Punk in a main event tag match. While Knight and Punk were not a fully functioning tag team, they were able to score the win. Now, the WWE Universe has to look forward to see what the loss does to Jey's already fragile mental state.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from American Airlines Center in Dallas.
LA Knight and CM Punk take down The Usos as Jey Uso spirals under Roman Reigns' direction
After agreeing to face Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel (see below), Reigns spoke to The Usos. Reigns told Jey Uso to stay focused on his own opportunities and career. Reigns asked Jey who was speaking at the top of the next hour, and when Jey said it was CM Punk, Reigns responded, "Not you?"
When Punk was speaking, focusing on wanting a match with Seth Rollins, he was interrupted first by LA Knight, who told Punk to get behind him in line for a shot at Rollins and the world heavyweight championship. This eventually brought out Jey Uso, who pointed out he never got his rematch after losing the title. After Jimmy Uso came to the ring, Jey blindsided Knight with a superkick. After Punk tried to go after Jey, Jimmy blindsided Punk with a superkick, leading to a match later in the night.
LA Knight & CM Punk def. The Usos via pinfall when Knight pinned Jey after a Punk Go To Sleep. Ahead of the match Jey was upset with Jimmy and asked if Jimmy was trying to protect Punk. After Jey walked off, Reigns told Jimmy that when Jey won the world heavyweight championship, he became more like Reigns and less like Jimmy. The match played out without interference, with the tense team of Punk and Knight getting the win, even though Knight tagged in at the last second to get the pin and steal the glory.
Is the world heavyweight championship poison? Jey Uso, Punk and Knight all seem to have lost their sense in the current situation, and Rollins was already in a strange headspace when he won the title. There's a lot going on in the title picture, and it doesn't seem like anything is going to be settled any time soon. It's an interesting situation, and that's about as much as you can ask for in pro wrestling. Grade: B
What else happened on WWE Raw?
- Bronson Reed challenged Roman Reigns to an Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel. Reigns happily accepted the challenge before calling out Reed and Paul Heyman for trying to leave after coming out to interrupt him like tough guys. This led to a brawl, during which Reigns knocked Reed over the ringside barricade with a Superman punch.
- Maxxine Dupri def. Becky Lynch via countout. Lynch lost focus in a competitive match, celebrating after attacking Dupri and not realizing Dupri had slid back in the ring, resulting in Lynch being counted out.
- Roxanne Perez def. Lyra Valkyria via pinfall with Pop Rox. Bayley was furious after watching Valkyria lose and dragged her backstage. Later, Bayley and Valkyria were seen attacking Raquel Rodriguez backstage before Perez came to the rescue.
- Kairi Sane def. Iyo Sky via pinfall when Asuka assisted on a pin. Earlier in the night, Asuka demanded Sane face Sky and then cheated to help Sane win. After the match, Sane and Asuka continued the attack on Sane.
- Seth Rollins asked Paul Heyman what would happen if he lost to Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Heyman said that Rollins could lose the faith of the locker room that Rollins' vision represents the future of professional wrestling, including losing the backing of The Visions' Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
- AJ Styles, Penta & Dragon Lee def. Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & JD McDonagh via pinfall after Styles hit McDonagh with a Styles Clash. Rusev approched ringside late in the match, leading Mysterio to run away after Penta accidentally hit Rusev with a superkick. With Mysterio removed from the equation, Styles was able to get the win for his team.
