WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Jey Uso remains hunted by Seth Rollins, Gunther and Logan Paul

Jey Uso has had to learn that being world champion puts a huge target on your back since becoming heavyweight champion by beating Gunther at WrestleMania 41. At Raw on Monday night, Uso had to battle on three fronts as he prepares to defend his title against Logan Paul at Saturday Night's Main Event.

On Monday night, Uso took on Seth Rollins' ally, Bron Breakker. It was never going to be a straight one-on-one battle. And, after Rollins interfered in the match, it was Paul who delivered the final blow, knocking out Uso once again.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

Jey Uso remains hunted by Rollins, Gunther and Paul

Gunther and Paul came face-to-face to open the show. Gunther interrupted Paul during a promo about Paul's match with Uso at Saturday Night's Main Event. Gunther complimented Paul's business savvy, but said that if Paul beat Uso to win the world heavyweight championship, he would take it as disrespect and eat Paul alive to win the title. After Gunther left the ring, Uso snuck in and dropped Paul with a superkick.

Later in the show, Rollins confronted Paul, saying that Breakker would be punishing Uso later in the night. That meant Paul would have the upper hand on Saturday night. If Paul were to beat Uso and then retain the title against Gunther, maybe the two could run their WrestleMania 39 match, this time with the world heavyweight championship on the line. Rollins would go on to also confront Gunther before Gunther said Rollins is short-sighted because the future of WWE runs through him, not Rollins and his crew.

Jey Uso def. Bron Breakker via disqualification after being attacked by Seth Rollins. Uso was rolling in the match before Paul Heyman interfered. As Uso was stalking Heyman, Rollins attacked from the crowd. Breakker and Rollins continued the attack until Sami Zayn and CM Punk ran in to make the save, brawling with Rollins and Breakker to close the show. As the four brawled to the back, Logan Paul jumped into the ring to knock out Uso.

WWE storylines are at their best when there are multiple interconnected parts all interacting with each other. That is the case with the current world heavyweight championship picture. Uso is the popular champion, being hunted by Gunther, Paul and Rollins. But none of the hunters are on the same page with the other and all with the same end goal: to end up holding the championship. It makes for an interesting week-to-week product, as shown on Monday night. Grade: B+
