Roman Reigns is back, and he helped The Usos take down The Vision's Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed during Raw on Monday night. The "OTC" made his return during the main event tornado tag match to tip the scales in favor of his cousins.

It was a major blow for The Vision, who were not anticipating Reigns' return after Reed took out Reigns with multiple Tsunamis at Clash in Paris. With Reigns back in the mix, it is left to be seen how The Usos adapt and what it means for their ongoing battle with The Vision.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Roman Reigns returns, helps Usos take down Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed

Jimmy and Jey Uso bickered backstage early in the show, with Jimmy asking why Jey didn't help him save LA Knight from The Vision last Monday and Jey saying helping Knight does nothing for them. Jimmy grew frustrated when Jey said "no help" for others, and that if Jimmy understood that, Jey might be world champion again by now.

The Usos def. The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) via pinfall after a double Uso Splash on Breakker. As Breakker and Reed seemed to have things in hand, Roman Reigns' music hit, and the "OTC" made his return for the first time since being laid out by Reed at Clash in Paris. Reigns made quick work of Reed and The Usos double-teamed Breakker to get the win. After the match, Reigns hyped Jey up while Jimmy looked on uncertain.

The Jey Uso story is one of the most intriguing things going on in a very bland WWE landscape right now. Jey has gone from pure babyface with the full support of the crowd to someone whose insecurities are bringing out the qualities Reigns displayed during his run atop The Bloodline. Jimmy doesn't want Jey to be another version of Reigns, but Jey saw the success Reigns' behavior led to and has to decide if that's the man he wants to be going forward. Beyond this match and story, there was basically no meat to this episode of Raw, with WWE spinning their tires looking to find some momentum, but at least this segment worked as it should. Grade: B+

What else happened on WWE Raw?

  • Asuka misted Iyo Sky after Sky attempted to stop Asuka and Kairi Sane's attack on Rhea Ripley. This came after Sky told Ripley she was unsure if she could turn her back on her "family" or not. Later, Sky told Ripley that she had talked to Adam Pearce, and they would face Asuka and Sane at Crown Jewel.
  • Intercontinental Championship – Dominik Mysterio (c) def. Rusev via pinfall with a low blow and roll-up. Mysterio took every shortcut he could before finally landing the low blow that left Rusev vulnerable to the pin.
  • Raquel Rodriguez def. Bayley via pinfall after a Tejana Bomb. Roxanne Perez interfered to cost Bayley the match after Lyra Valkyria said she wouldn't come to ringside to help Bayley again. Valkyria did run down to make the save from a post-match attack.
  • LA Knight def. Kofi Kingston via pinfall with a BFT. The match came about when New Day interrupted Knight while he spoke to Adam Pearce about a future shot at the world heavyweight title.
  • Backy Lynch attacked Akira Tozawa backstage before a blindside attack on Maxxine Dupri. Lynch then checked in with Seth Rollins, who asked if she was feeling better.
  • Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes came face-to-face. Rhodes talked about the flaws in Rollins' belief that he is shaping the future of wrestling, while Rollins said he was never Rhodes' friend and Rhodes was just a means to an end for him. Rollins finished by saying that the results of their past matches don't matter and when he beats Rhodes at Crown Jewel, he will "rewrite the timeline."
  • AJ Styles & Dragon Lee def. El Americanos via pinfall after Styles hit a Styles Clash.
