WWE Raw results, recap: Roman Reigns brawls with Bronson Reed, alliances splinter before Clash in Paris

Things are heating up as WWE heads to France. Some of the hottest rivalries going are ready to reach a boiling point when the promotion reaches Paris on Sunday, but some things just couldn't wait when Raw arrived in Birmingham on Monday. Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed came to blows as they prepare to go one-on-one in Paris. Meanwhile, the world heavyweight title match between four men also blew a gasket as the four men brawled to close out the show.

Bron Breakker was tasked with taking out LA Knight from the fatal-four way for Seth Rollins' world heavyweight title, but he didn't exactly accomplish that goal. CM Punk and Jey Uso might have done it for him.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham, England.

Reigns, Reed brawl ahead of Clash in Paris

Roman Reigns opened the show by addressing the England crowd, who was whipped up in a frenzy. He said that he has to admit he's not the same guy anymore, but that maybe he could draw something out of himself close to what he was. He then said that Cody Rhodes predicted a year and a half ago that someone would come along and take everything from him, and that Seth Rollins and his new crew did exactly that. He acknowledged that he no longer has a Bloodline behind, but the crowd was quick to remind him that Jey Uso has backed him up on multiple occasions recently, including a match at SummerSlam against Reed and Breakker.

Reigns then went on to say that they took everything from him -- the titles, the Bloodline, the family -- that they needed to find something else to take it ... his shoes. Which then brought Reed and Paul Heyman out to the entrance ramp.

Heyman said it was five years ago that he left Brock Lesnar to become Reigns' wise man and create The Bloodline while running the company. And now, Reigns is alone while Heyman is with The Vision still running things. He then told Reigns that he came out to disrespect him -- not out of malice, but out of love. He said that Reigns needed tough love and that Reed would be the one to give it to him.

Reed then took the mic and said that their match on Sunday was about disrespect. It was about the real Bloodline and that Reed's Samoan ancestors were tougher than his. This led to a massive brawl that officials struggled to break up.

Bron Breakker def. LA Knight via pinfall after a spear with help from Seth Rollins. The main event match started off rocky after Reigns jumped Breakker backstage and then delivered a Superman punch to Reed before officials could get him out of the arena. Knight jumped in at the opportunity and attacked Breakker before dragging him out to the ring. The two put on a solid match before Rollins came out to provide a distraction. That led Knight to chase Rollins on the outside where Breakker met him with a spear. Rollins and Breakker continued the assault after the match was over, which led to Jey Uso coming out to get a pice of his opponent at Clash in Paris. Soon, the numbers overwhelmed Uso as well, which brought out CM Punk. Breakker intercepted Punk on the way out, but Punk managed to deliver enough damage to shake him off. Rollins escaped the ring before Punk could get any shots in. Then, Knight brawled with Punk and Uso as the three men all want to earn the world heavyweight title when they face Rollins in the fatal four way.

What else happened on WWE Raw?

  • Dragon Lee def. JD McDonagh via pinfall after hitting Operation Dragon. McDonagh's tag team partner, Finn Balor, was ejected from ringside early in the match, but another member of Judgement Day came to ringside when Dominik Mysterio looked to distract Lee. But he was met by AJ Styles, who helped Lee get the win.
  • Kofi Kingston def. Penta via pinfall after hitting Trouble in Paradise. Xavier Woods and Grayson Waller provided numerous distractions and interference to help Kingston get the win.
  • Raw general manager Adam Pearce informed Stephanie Vaquer that she would no longer compete at Clash in Paris after Naomi was forced to vacate the WWE women's title. She will get a title match with a new opponent at a later date.
  • Nikki Bella challenged women's intercontinental champ Becky Lynch to a match at Clash in Paris, which Lynch accepted.
  • Rhea Ripley def. Roxanne Perez via pinfall after hitting Riptide. Post-match, Raquel Rodriguez and Perez continued to try and assault Ripley after causing issues during the match. Iyo Sky ran in to make the save of Ripley. Later, Asuka and Kairi Sane were furious with Sky for running to the aid of Ripley.
  • AJ Styles def. Finn Balor via pinfall after hitting a Styles Clash.
