Final Four 2017: Mark Few does a handstand after Gonzaga beats South Carolina
Mark Few and Gonzaga celebrated with a water fight and some gymnastics in the locker room
Gonzagaâs first appearance in the Final Four resulted in what is now its first trip to the national championship game.
The Bulldogs held off the Gamecocks 77-73 in Phoenix on Saturday night. And despite giving up a double-digit lead late in the second half and trailing briefly, Gonzaga bounced back to take the lead and relied on strong free-throw shooting and its No. 1 ranked defense to carry it home and edge out the streaking Gamecocks.
Led by Nigel Williams-Goss, who finished with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting, the Bulldogs are going to a place theyâve never been. And as Williams-Goss said after the game, they are 40 minutes away from winning it all.
It called for a postgame celebration in the locker room that involved an insane amount of water, some dancing, and coach Mark Few showing off his agility with a handstand.

This is Fewâs traditional way of celebrating, even if itâs a little unorthodox. Few did the same when the Zags reached the Sweet 16 in 2015. And as you can see from the players reaction to it, they absolutely love it.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs await the winner of No. 1 seed North Carolina and No. 3 seed Oregon, the second game Saturday night. The national championship game is Monday.
That handstand is fun to watch, and as much as the players seem to enjoy it, I can guarantee you no one would love to see Mark Few handstand one more time than Few himself.
