Braves pitcher Mike Minor (shoulder) began a throwing program recently, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. Minor went under the knife for shoulder surgery in the middle of May, but was able to begin throwing in September and appears to be progressing well.

He'll continue to throw over the offseason, and while the club is hopeful that the 27-year-old will be able to return early next year, it's unclear at this point if he'll be available to begin the season.
