| The typical recovery time for a pitcher coming off Tommy John surgery is 12-18 months, so August is right in that time frame. Although, that is clearly being optimistic. There definitely could be some unexpected delays in Anderson's recovery. The news here is that Anderson is expected to miss most of the 2012 season, so that hurts his Fantasy appeal. Leave him for the late rounds in deep Fantasy formats that have ample reserve spots. (Updated 01/29/2012). |
