| Dotel gets final out for first save: Tigers reliever Octavio Dotel recorded an interesting save on Tuesday afternoon at Chicago. Dotel relieved injured Jose Valverde with two on and two outs in the ninth inning with a 10-6 lead. Dotel allowed a base hit to score the two inherited runs, but was settled by the team's pitching coach and got the final out for his first save. (Updated 05/15/2012) |

| Dotel didn't make things easy on himself as he allowed the two inherited runners to score followed by Dayan Viciedo barely missing a game-ending home run for the final out. Still, he earned his first save and could see some chances going forward if Valverde has to miss any time. Joaquin Benoit should get first crack, however. Dotel remains mostly a low-end Fantasy option at this point. (Updated 05/15/2012). |
