Indians DH David Murphy delivers key double in Wednesday win
by Marty Gitlin | CBSSports.com

Indians designated hitter David Murphy has been hitting all season like he wants to shed his platoon tag. And Wednesday against Houston, he was given a chance to stay in the game against a sidearming left-hander and he delivered.

Murphy slammed a critical two-run double off the fence in right field against Joe Thatcher in the eighth inning to turn a 2-2 tie into a 4-2 win. It was his second two-bagger of the game and sweetened his slash line to .333/.375/.500.
