Chara has hand in win Monday: The Sports Xchange reports Bruins D Zdeno Chara, who had a career-high 19 goals last season, has one so far in 2009-10. But his shot from the blue line was tipped in by Milan Lucic on Monday night, the goal turning out to be the winner against the Blues, and he has seven points (six assists) in the last nine games.

Chara has definitely been a slow starter the last few seasons, but he usually hits his stride down the stretch and comes up big for Fantasy owners in clutch time. It reminds us of another high-end Fantasy defenseman -- Nicklas Lidstrom. Chara needs to remain active in all Fantasy formats through thick and thin.
