Tanguay has three-point night: Lightning LW Alex Tanguay scored a goal, tallied two assists and finished at plus-2 during Monday's game against the Coyotes. Tanguay made it 2-0 with the Lightning on a 5-on-3 power play, scoring on a quick rebound from the right edge of the crease after Jason LaBarbera stopped Ryan Malone's original shot. It was his fourth goal of the season.

Tanguay has gotten most of his points since late October, when coach Rick Tocchet jolted his game by putting him on a line with Ryan Malone and Steven Stamkos. The move has paid dividends for Tanguay's confidence and he is starting to max out his potential. Tanguay is not a must-start Fantasy option, but he is definitely climbing the rankings.
