Canelo vs. GGG results: Twitter reacts to the bizarre decision from the judges
The scorecards from the three officials sitting ringside were questionable at best
Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin threw everything they could imagine at each other in their epic fight for middleweight supremacy on Saturday night. The two top fighters went at it for 12 grueling rounds with both fighters seeming to land huge punches even though neither tasted the canvas at any point of the fight.
But when the final bell sounded to end the fight, many believe that Golovkin would walk away the unified middleweight champion of the world. The judges had other ideas. The three ringside judges scored the fight 118-110 Alvarez, 115-113 Golovkin and 114-114 for a majority draw.
Twitter reacted in kind.
.@GGGBoxing showed the world just how good he is. Said he never fought no one. Everyone dodging him till he's nearly over the hill.

This one came before the fight even started and proved to be right.
Remember the name Adelaide Byrd. Has had some very questionable cards in the past. Top Rank once tried to have her removed from a big fight. https://t.co/SgU3pH8rNy

Finally, perhaps my favorite of the night.
I tell you which boxing match didn't end in controversy and everyone went home happy ... (/ducks) pic.twitter.com/ARoZoKrRG7
