SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) Alize Johnson scored 21 points with 16 rebounds Jarred Dixon scored 15 points and Missouri State held off Indiana State 76-73 on Sunday.

Ryan Kreklow made two 3-pointers in the last 71 seconds of the first half to put the Bears out front 40-30. Missouri State (14-5, 4-2 Missouri Valley Conference) maintained most of that lead for the first 10 minutes of the second half before the Sycamores closed to 57-54 with an 8-0 run on 3-pointers from Brenton Scott and Jordan Barnes and a jumper by Emondre Rickman.

Following a Bears timeout, Indiana State took the lead with a 9-5 spurt and were up 63-62 with 3:31 left. Barnes' 3 gave the Sycamores a 68-65 lead before an 8-0 Missouri State burst. The Sycamores missed all five shots during the Bears' run.

Barnes made a 3 with seven seconds left to reduce the deficit to 73-71 before Ryan Kreklow made 1 of 2 free throws. Barnes got fouled and sank two free throws to make it 74-73 before Kreklow made two foul shots to end the game.

Barnes led Indiana State (8-10, 3-3) with 18 points, Tyreke Key scored 16 and Scott 13.
