The #3 Purdue Boilermakers' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Florida State Seminoles at 7 p.m. ET Nov. 30 at Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers are out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Purdue took their matchup at home this past Friday with ease, bagging a 97-40 win over the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the spread was 36.5 points in Purdue's favor. It was another big night for their center Zach Edey, who had 20 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
As for FSU, they have more to be thankful for after their game against the Boston University Terriers this past Wednesday. FSU escaped with a win by the margin of a single free throw, 81-80. They got their victory on the backs of several key players, and it was guard Caleb Mills out in front picking up 17 points and five assists in addition to five steals.
Purdue is now a perfect 6-0 while the Seminoles sit at 5-1. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Boilermakers are 21st worst in college basketball in takeaways, with only 10.7 on average. To make matters even worse for Purdue, FSU comes into the contest boasting the 18th most takeaways per game in college basketball at 19.
