After a four-game homestand, the UMBC Retrievers will be on the road. They and the Vermont Catamounts are set to clash at 11 a.m. ET March 12 at Roy L Patrick Gymnasium in the third round of the America East Conference Tourney. These two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Everything went UMBC's way against the Hartford Hawks on Wednesday as they made off with an 80-60 victory. The Retrievers' forward Szymon Wojcik looked sharp as he had 19 points in addition to nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Catamounts earned some more postseason success in their matchup on Wednesday. They put a hurting on the Binghamton Bearcats at home to the tune of 74-42. Vermont's success was spearheaded by the efforts of forward Ryan Davis, who had 19 points, and guard Ben Shungu, who had 23 points.

UMBC have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 15.50 point spread they are up against. They are currently five-for-five against the spread in their most recent games, however, a trend bettors might want to take into account.
