The St. John's Red Storm's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Butler Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. ET Dec. 23 at Carnesecca Arena. The teams split their matchups last year, with the Red Storm winning the first 69-57 at home and Butler taking the second 76-73.

St. John's was close but no cigar on Saturday as they fell 59-57 to the Pittsburgh Panthers. If the result catches you off guard, it should: St. John's was far and away the favorite.
