Saturday's game between Duke and North Carolina was the final one that Mike Krzyzewski will take part in as the longtime coach will retire following the NCAA Tournament.  North Carolina came away with a 94-81 win over their arch rivals, but that wasn't where the rivalry stopped.

Following the final buzzer, Duke assistant coach Chris Carrawell participated in the handshake line, but refused to shake the hand of North Carolina head coach Hubert Davis, who did extend his hand.

Instead of shaking Davis' hand, Carrawell just kept on walking.

Davis looked a little shocked that Carrawell wouldn't shake his hand and weighed in on the events following the game.

"I don't know what that's about," Davis said. "I didn't play against him. I don't know him personally."

According to the Raleigh News & Observer, Carrawell stated that it was a retaliatory move in response to David not shaking hands prior to tip-off. The Raleigh News & Observer reported that Davis and Krzyzewski shook hands before the game. However, Davis reportedly wasn't on the court for the traditional pregame handshakes with members of the Duke staff

The rivalry clearly runs extremely deep with Carrawell as he played for Krzyzewski from 1996 until 2000. In addition, Davis played for North Carolina from 1988 to 1992 and returned to join Roy Williams' coaching staff in 2012.
