Dalvin Cook's younger brother commits to Florida State for 2019
James Cook, the younger brother of FSU star Dalvin Cook, will also play for the Seminoles.

Florida State picked up a commitment for its 2019 recruiting class on Friday as running back James Cook, the younger brother of Noles star back Dalvin Cook, announced he would follow in his brothers footsteps to Tallahassee.

The younger Cook rushed for 709 yards and eight touchdowns on 99 carries for Miami Central as a freshman. He had offers from a number of top programs like Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Georgia, Miami and Florida but the connection with Florida State through his brother was too strong.
Dalvin returns this fall for his junior year following a stellar sophomore campaign, rushing for 1,691 yards and 19 touchdowns on 229 carries. Even if he chooses to leave for the NFL after this coming season, Florida State will only have to go a maximum of two seasons without a Cook in the backfield thanks to the commitment from James.
