You know what I think about when I think of the desert? Cool temperatures, gale-force winds, and lots of snow and ice.

Always a lot of snow and ice in the desert.

Apparently adidas and Arizona State think the same way I do, as the Sun Devils -- the sun is another icy place -- unveiled their new "Desert Ice" look.

The Sun Devils will wear these uniforms in their opener against Texas A&M.

I don't mind the all-white look at all, as I think it actually presents a nice contrast with the copper on the rest of the uniform, but the pitchfork logo on the head might be just a little too big. And I say that as somebody who is typically a fan of Arizona State's pitchfork logo.

But when you're going white, which seems clean and minimal, the helmet logo just demands all your attention and takes away from the rest of the look.
