TCU burned through its fireworks inventory Saturday
TCU scored so many touchdowns against Texas Tech that it used up all the fireworks it had for the entire season.

When TCU scores a touchdown at home, it lights off fireworks. On Saturday against Texas Tech, it used those fireworks often. The Horned Frogs scored 10 touchdowns en route to an 82-27 win, which was awesome to see, but it also presented the school with a new problem.
It's out of fireworks.
How prolific is @TCUFootball's offense this year? In yesterday's 82-27 romp over Tech, we shot all the pyro we ordered...for the season.

@AlexAppleDFW My guy radioed me after we hit 68 and said "I only have enough for one more touchdown this season." Then we scored two.

Those are tweets from TCU's assistant athletics director for marketing and licensing, Drew Martin, and I'm assuming he'd know about the school's pyro inventory.
Of course, this is an excellent problem to have, and I'm sure TCU won't mind ordering more fireworks for the rest of the season. After all, it has two home games left to play and it's currently leading the country with 50.4 points per game.
