WATCH: Georgia Southern kicker spins ball, kicks backflip field goal
Georgia Southern kicker Younghoe Koo spun the ball on the ground and then kicked a field goal while doing a back flip.

Kicker trick shots were the wave in college football this summer, and Georgia Southern's Younghoe Koo has put in a late entry. Here he is doing a soccer trick to get the ball spinning and then kicking a field goal while doing a backflip.

With all the talk about moving the extra point back or doing away with it entirely, I propose an entirely different solution to the boredom of watching extra points.
Kickers clearly have skills, and we should reward them for that. So, instead of just having a kick from 20 yards out for one point, we take everyone off the field except for the kicker (and holder if they choose to have one) and make them do a trick shot.
The shot must go through the uprights and there three judges who can award anywhere from 0-3 points for the trick shot. The judges scores are averaged and rounded up or down to the nearest point and that's what the team gets to add on.
A normal kick from 20 yards? That's worthless. You are awarded zero points and you go back to your sideline in shame. This kick from Koo would be worth at least two points -- maybe the full three -- added on after a touchdown.
