Angels' Brian Moran: Left off Opening Day roster

Moran isn't on the Angels' Opening Day roster, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Moran served as a non-roster invitee this spring and was unable to secure a spot in the Opening Day bullpen after posting a 3.00 ERA and 1.17 WHIP in six innings across six Cactus League appearances. He'll attempt to carve out a role at Triple-A Salt Lake and will be a candidate to provide bullpen depth at some point in 2022.
