Angels' Drew Ellis: Signs with Angels

Ellis signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Thursday.

Ellis earned 29 plate appearances with the Phillies in 2023, but he began the 2024 season with the Charleston Dirty Birds of the Atlantic League. Even with mounting injuries in the Angels' infield, he's unlikely to get an immediate opportunity in the majors.
