Angels' Sean Coyle: Claimed by Angels

Coyle was claimed by the Angels on Monday, Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports reports.

After being designated for assignment by the Red Sox on July 8, the minor league second baseman was claimed despite his .165 batting average at Double-A and Triple-A. It is incredibly unlikely that he will see time in the majors this season.
