Astros' Taylor Jones: Hits first big-league homer

Jones went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to San Diego on Saturday.

With Houston down by 10 runs in the fifth inning, Jones put up a murmur of protest with a 405-foot shot to left field. The homer was the first of his career and his fourth overall hit in 17 at-bats. Jones hit 22 long balls in 447 at-bats at the Triple-A level in 2019.
