Athletics' Carlos Duran: Sent back to Triple-A

The Athletics optioned Duran to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Duran made his MLB debut Thursday against the Angels and allowed three earned runs on one hit and three walks. He recorded just one out and will head back to the minors.
