Braves' Chad Sobotka: Heads back to Gwinnett

The Braves optioned Sobotka to their alternate training site in Gwinnett on Monday.

Sobotka was removed from the active roster as the Braves cleared a spot for designated hitter Matt Adams (hamstring) to return from the 10-day injured list. The right-hander's latest stint with Atlanta lasted two days, with Sobotka failing to appear out of the bullpen in victories Saturday and Sunday over the Marlins.
