Braves' Seth Elledge: Gets call to majors

Atlanta selected Elledge's contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.

Elledge joined Atlanta on a minor-league deal June 27 and earned the call-up after posting a 2.70 ERA and 1.05 WHIP across 6.2 innings out of the Gwinnett bullpen. He'll likely be deployed as a low-leverage reliever while he's up with Atlanta.
