Elledge was released by the Cardinals on Friday and signed a minor-league contract with the Braves on Monday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Elledge struggled in 2021 with Triple-A Memphis, posting a 6.56 ERA and 1.88 WHIP across 35.2 innings. He also saw 11.2 innings with the Cardinals with a 4.63 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 11:7 K:BB. The right-hander will get a look with Atlanta, though he'll likely begin the season in the minors.
