Quentin refused his assignment to Triple-A and is now a free agent, MLB.com's Rhett Bollinger reports.

Quentin posted a respectable .833 OPS this spring, so he is hoping to catch on with another team rather than open the season in the minors. Whether or not he will land a major league deal remains to be seen, so his 2016 campaign could very well still begin with a Triple-A squad.
