Casey McGehee: Heads to free agency Monday

McGehee was not extended a qualifying offer and is now a free agent, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.

This comes as no surprise, as the veteran third baseman barely contributed at the major league level. McGehee will head into free agency and likely look to latch onto an organization willing to keep him around on a minor league contract.
