Cubs' Joel Peralta: Continues shaky tenure with Cubs

Peralta gave up two runs on three hits -- including a home run -- in 1.2 innings of relief against the Mets on Sunday.

On the plus side, Peralta struck out three and walked none (though he hit a batter). On the negative side, he's done little in his week with the Cubs to indicate the team will trust him in high-leverage situations. In four appearances covering just three innings, Peralta has given up five hits and five runs.
