Diamondbacks' Kyle Drabek: Assigned to Triple-A on Monday

Drabek was assigned to Triple-A Reno on Monday after the Diamondbacks secured outright waivers on him, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Drabek was designated for assignment Friday, but went through waivers unclaimed by another team. He'll stick on with the Diamondbacks organization and act as organizational depth going forward, although he could find his way back to the majors if the Diamondbacks bullpen gets hit with injuries.
