Diamondbacks' Matt Beaty: Gets minors deal from Arizona

The Diamondbacks signed Beaty to a minor-league contract on Tuesday.

Beaty, 31, hasn't played anywhere in 2024 after slashing .230/.347/.295 in 30 games in 2023 between the Giants and Royals. He's been assigned to Double-A Amarillo, where he'll provide the organization with some veteran depth.
