Giants' Jairo Pomares: Earns weekly honors

Pomares was named the Northwest League Player of the Week on Tuesday.

Pomares went 12-for-25 with two home runs, three doubles and six RBI in six games versus High-A Spokane last week. For the season, the outfield prospect is slashing .248/.324/.434 with 12 homers, 44 RBI, 45 runs scored and 17 doubles through 80 contests.
