Guardians' Phillip Diehl: Lands NRI from Guardians

Diehl signed a minor-league contract with the Guardians on Tuesday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Diehl has received an invitation to major-league spring training. The 28-year-old has seen action in 21 appearances at the big-league level across parts of three seasons, posting a 9.47 ERA. He'll give the Guardians some left-handed relief depth.
