Jerome Williams: Will miss beginning of season

Williams is expected to miss the first couple months of the season after undergoing surgery on his Achilles, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports.

The former Phillie pitched 121 innings with a 5.80 ERA in 2015 after spending just over one season in Philadelphia. Even when Williams returns from this injury, however, a team may only sign him to a minor league contract.
