Kyle Keller: Headed to Japan

Keller signed a contract with the Hanshin Tigers of Nippon Professional Baseball on Monday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Keller made a career-high 32 relief appearances with the Pirates during the 2021 campaign but sputtered to a 6.48 ERA and 1.56 WHIP in 33.1 innings. The right-hander will now attempt to right the ship overseas.
