Marlins' Tim Berry: Claimed by Marlins

Berry (knee) was claimed off waivers by the Marlins on Wednesday, Chris Cotillo of MLB Daily Dish reports.

Berry didn't have much success at Double-A Bowie last season, finishing with a 7.32 ERA and 1.72 WHIP while making a switch from starter to reliever. It's unclear what role he'll take now in the Marlins organization, but it's more likely than not he'll begin the campaign at Double-A once again.
