Mets' Josh Walker: Added to big-league bullpen

The Mets selected Walker's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Walker will give the Mets a fresh bullpen arm following Monday's blowout loss to the Nationals. David Peterson has been optioned out to Triple-A.
