Mets' Nate Fisher: Clears waivers

Fisher was outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

He'll remain in the Mets organization after being moved off the 40-man roster Monday, just one day after making his MLB debut. The 26-year-old lefty was sharp while working in long relief during Sunday's 10-9 win over the Phillies, striking out a batter over three scoreless frames.
