Orioles' Beau Taylor: Inks MiLB deal with Baltimore

Taylor signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on Friday which includes an invite to big-league camp, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Taylor will provide some catching depth during spring training with Adley Rutschman, Baltimore's top prospect, shut down due to a triceps strain. Taylor will be competing with fellow non-roster invitees Jacob Nottingham and Anthony Bemboom for a shot at the backup role behind Robinson Chirinos, who is expected to start until Rutschman makes his way to the majors.
