Orioles' Louis Head: Outrighted to Triple-A

Head was sent outright to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Head pitched 28.2 innings in the majors during 2022, recording a 6.28 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in the process. After putting up even worse numbers with Norfolk -- 7.04 ERA and 1.85 WHIP -- Head will need to bounce back in a major way in the spring to have a chance of returning to Baltimore's 40-man roster.
