Harrison (back) is not expected to be ready for spring training and it is unlikely he will pitch anytime soon, the Phillies' official site reports.
Harrison, who came over to the Phillies as a salary dump in the Cole Hamels trade, made just three starts last season before returning to the disabled list with a type of lower-back inflammation called hyperthyroidism. Even if he can return at some point this year, his chances for success are diminished due to his declining velocity.
