Phillies' Ramon Rosso: Sent to alternate site

Rosso was optioned to the Phillies' alternate training site Friday.

The 24-year-old joined the big-league club for the start of the week but will head back to the alternate site before the final weekend of the regular season. Rosso has given up seven runs on nine hits with an 11:8 K:BB over 9.2 innings this season.
