Pirates' Marco Gonzales: Moved to 60-day IL

The Pirates transferred Gonzales (forearm) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

Gonzales hasn't been cleared to resume throwing since landing on the IL on April 14 with a left forearm strain, so the move to the 60-day IL won't affect his return date. Instead, the transaction clears up a spot on the 40-man roster for catcher Jason Delay (knee), who was reinstated from the 60-day IL and then optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
