Rangers' Josh Sale: Re-signs on MiLB deal

Sale re-signed with the Rangers on a minor-league contract Jan. 23.

Sale was a first-round selection by the Rays in 2010 who has been suspended on numerous occasions throughout his professional career. He posted a .762 OPS across 236 at-bats over 72 games with Triple-A Round Rock last season. The 31-year-old will provide the Rangers with organizational depth again in 2023.
