Rangers' Locke St. John: Optioned to Triple-A

St. John was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.

St. John was called up June 20 but struggled pitching out of the bullpen, racking up a 6.75 ERA and 1.88 WHIP with four strikeouts and four walks across 5.1 innings. Pedro Payano had his contract selected to replace St. John on the 25-man roster.
